Policies
Altona Primary School has developed a range of policies, covering the many areas of learning and teaching from curriculum, through to healthy eating and student uniforms.
Our policy documents provide the framework and guidelines for the implementation of quality school programs.
All policies have a consistent format and are reviewed on a cyclical basis to ensure adherence to current Department of Education and Early Childhood Development guidelines such as the Victorian Essential Learning Standards.
Policies are formulated in consultation with the School Council, staff, parents and students (as applicable). Policies are ratified by School Council.
